It is a Promotional Scheme for reintroducing the Fixed line Pre- Paid Phone (FLPP) - (True Prepaid) w.e.f 14.07.2008.
The details as follow  :

a) The following Account cards can be used for True Prepaid connection

b)    Procedure for True Prepaid connection.

1)    The applicant should submit the filled up FLPP application form to the respective area
        CSC / Commercial officer.
2)     The respective Customer Manager/Commercial Officer will issue work order for true
         pre paid landline connection without Security deposit and Installation charge.
3)     One Account card of Rs 600/- having talk value of Rs 50/- and validity of 6 months
         will be issued to the applicant against one time payment of Rs 600/- + Tax.
4)     For Senior Citizen (above 60 years) Account card of Rs 600/ +Tax will be given free
         of cost.
5)     Senior Citizen willing to purchase Account card of Rs 1100/ or Rs 2000/ will get
        discount of Rs 600/. { Example : Price of A/C card will be (1100-600) +Tax i.e Rs 500/-         + Tax }
         For others, A/C card are to be sold at full price.
6)     The FLPP connection will be with Incoming facility only. All O/G calls from this FLPP         connection will be made by fixed line pre paid card / Voucher (Top-up).
7)     Before expiry of the validity period , Customer has to recharge the A/C with special
         type Recharge coupon of Rs 600 +Tax for extension of validity period. Customer can
         also extend the validity for one month by recharging with Rs 150/  voucher.
         Call charge will be Re 1.00 per unit.

Once the connection is provided under the Sr. Citizen (>60 years of age) the Telephone Number given may be reserved for lifetime (max 20 years) keeping in view the immediate revival of the connection even after expiry of the schedule validity.

The Scheme is valid up to 11.10.2008
