New scheme for Senior Citizen
( Age more than 60 years )
Fixed Line Pre-paid Phone (True Prepaid
) facility will be given to the Senior Citizen (above 60 years)
customers.
Two Account Card of Rs 1100 and Rs 2000 having
talk value of Rs 100/ & Rs 150/ with validity
of 1 year & 2 years with shelf life of 18 months for
both have been launched in addition to earlier Account card
of Rs 600/.
The details of the scheme as below :
Customer will get a true pre paid landline connection without
installation charge & security
deposit and with I/C facility only. The O/G calls can be made
by fixed line pre paid card/voucher (Top-up).
With each pre paid phone connection, one (FLPP) Account Card
of Rs 600/+Tax will be given
free of cost. for Senior citizen customers. This discount
is not applicable in case of migration of existing connection.
The Senior citizen customer willing to purchase account card
of Rs 1100 or Rs2000 will get a discount of Rs 600/-(Example
Price of A/C card will be (1100- 600)+Tax i.e Rs 500+Tax).
The applicant has to purchase FLPP Top-up voucher of Rs 100/200
for making calls.
The scheme is not applicable for rent free landline telephone
connection
Call charge will be Re 1.00 per unit.
Once the connection is provided under the Sr. Citizen (>60
years of age) the Telephone
Number given may be reserved for lifetime (max 20 years) keeping
in view the immediate
reviving the connection even after expiry of the schedule
validity.
