Sub : Calling for volunteers from amongst the TES GR. ‘B’ officers for posting as                                faculty member to NSCBTTC/Kalyani. & DTTC/Saltlake/Ballygunge .


It is proposed to draw a panel of volunteers from amongst the the TES GR. ‘B’ officers for posting as faculty member to NSCBTTC/Kalyani & DTTC/Saltlake/Ballygunge. The officers who is selected and posted to Training centre will be eligible for getting faculty allowances as per existing rules in addition to his normal pay and allowances.

        The following guidelines may kindly be observed while submitting the applications.,

(i)    Volunteers for the post should not be more than 55 years of age as on 01/12/2006
(ii)   Having volunteered once, the officer will not be permitted to withdraw subsequently.
(iii)  Having recommended the case of volunteer, the controlling officers concerned have to ensure
        the relief of the officer if and when he/she is selected and posted to training centre.
(iv)  Tenure in Training centre is normally 05(five) years, who are not likely to complete the tenure
       because of anticipated promotion/retirement or likely to be transferred due to prolong stay in
       station, need not apply and such application need not be forwarded to this office by the
       concerned unit.

       APPLICATION WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED IF

(i)    Not routed through proper channel.
(ii)   Received without the specific recommendations from the head of the circle/unit.
(iii)  Incomplete application in any respect / direct advance copies.
(iv)  Applications received after due date

Maximum tenure in Training Centre is 05(five) years which can be curtailed due to administrative reasons.

A wide publicity may be given to all the field Unit under your control. The complete application in the prescribed proforma (attached) with specific recommendation of the Head of the Circle/Unit should reach to AGM/ST-I, BSNL, Calcutta Telephones not later then 31/12/2006. Upto date ACR & Special report should also be reached Simultaneously to Sri S.K. Kayal, DGM/Admn., BSNL, Calcutta Telephones, Telephone Bhawan, 34, B.B.D. Bag, Kolkata-700001, under intimation to this office.
